Abstract
The author discusses several bibliographic aspects regarding a religious printing, Biblie. Noul Testament. Tetraevangheliar, Alep, 1708, the second edition, printed during the ages of Constantin Brâncoveanu and Antimie Ivireanu, under the cultural and religious sponsorship of the Ruler and of the Orthodox Church from Valachia, in collaboration with one of the heads of the Orthodox Church, Melkite Atanasie IV Dabbas. The expenses were covered by the great military ruler, Ivan Mazepa, of Ukraine.
The book – of which the Library of the Romanian Academy owns a “unicum exemplarium” – has an outstanding cultural and historical value, being included in all the three retrospective bibliographies (of the XVIII-th century), the Romanian, the Arabian and the Ukrainean ones. It is also valuable as a piece of the bibliophile cultural patrimony.

Rezumat
Autorul ia în discuţie câteva aspecte bibliografice referitoare la o publicaţie religioasă, Biblie. Noul Testament. Tetraevangheliar, Alep, 1708, ediţia a doua, tipărită în timpul domniei lui Constantin Brâncoveanu şi a lui Antimie Ivireanu. Ediţia a fost realizată sub patronajul Domnitorului şi al Bisericii Ortodox din Valahia, în colaborare cu una dintre figurile proeminente ale Bisericii Ortodoxe, Melkite Atanasie IV Dabbas. Costurile au fost acoperite de marele comandant militar ucrainian, Ivan Mazepa.
Cartea – din care Biblioteca Academiei Român deţine un “unicum exemplarium” – are o excepţională valoare culturală şi istorică, fiind inclusă în trei bibliografii retrospective (ale sec. XVIII), cea română, cea arabă şi cea ucrainiană. De asemenea, ea reprezintă o foarte valoroasă piesă a patrimoniului bibliofil.
