Abstract
Since the dawn of humanity, spirituality, in all of its forms, has been a focus of interest in all cultures, whether at a philosophical level or at the level of daily life and practicality. This quest has reverberated throughout the evolution for a multitude of cultures. Neuroscience has been able to reveal commonalities related to religious practice and experience that are independent of specific religious affiliation.
