Abstract

The author presents the palae-ecological conditions from Galaţi county, that allowed people to live on this territory during all the prehistoric, ancient and middle ages. Further on, he deals with several fortuitous archaeological discoveries from some of the settlements and necropolis found on the territory of Galaţi county.
