OLD ROMANIAN BIBLIOGRAPHY. CORRIGENDA. MACARIES PRINTINGS

Abstract

Continuing his bibliographic investigations in the field of old Romanian books, the author offers a new approach of the printings from the XVIth century, starting with Macaries works: Liturghier, 1508, Octoih, 1510, Tetraevangheliar, 1512, effected at Dealu Monastery, Târgovişte, through the sponsorship of the local Ruler and of the Metropolitan Seat of Ungrovlahia. The author offers a very comprehensive synthetic account, serving to the re-edition of the new series of the retrospective national bibliography (1508-1830), a revised and enriched series. Though such a scientific project is of national importance, in fact it is promoted only by individual researchers and not at an institutional level, through a nationwide more efficient intellectual collaboration.

Rezumat

Continuându-şi investigaţiile sale bibliografice în domeniul cărţii vechi româneşti, autorul oferă o nouă abordare asupra tipăriturilor din secolul XVI, începând cu lucrările lui Macarie: Liturghier, 1508, Octoih, 1510, Tetraevangheliar, 1512, imprimate la Mănăstirea Dealu, Târgovişte, cu sprijinul financiar al Domnitorului şi al Mitropoliei Ungrovlahiei. Autorul oferă o cuprinzătoare abordare sintetică, cu scopul ca aceasta să servească reeditării unei noi serii a bibliografiei naţionale retrospective (1508-1830), o serie revizuită şi îmbunătăţită. În ciuda importanţei la scară naţională a acestui proiect ştiinţific, el este promovat doar de cercetători individuali, nu şi la nivel naţional, printr-o colaborare intelectuală a tuturor cercetătorilor români din domeniu.
